One of the most common questions we get at Dysgraphia Life looks something like this:
Hi,
I live in Mytown, Mystate and am looking for a professional to [diagnose, provide therapy, or tutor] my child. How do I find someone? Do you have anyone to recommend?
Thanks,
Concerned Parent
As we constantly say in these blogs, we listen to your feedback! So we have realized that one thing our community really needs is a resource where they can easily find professionals in their area who have experience working with people with writing difficulties.
Enter... the Dysgraphia Life Professionals Database! Launching summer 2021. We are so excited to launch this resource for our community.
Right now, we are spreading the word, so we can locate professionals in many of your communities that are appropriate for the database. We are accepting teachers and tutors, psychologists and neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, language therapists and more. Individuals or companies. They can work with children or adults or both. If you are a professional or know a professional who may be interested, please join and/or share this link:
Everyone has a different level of need and different criteria. For one child, a parent might be looking for a tutor who is highly certified with many years of language training. For another, the parent may be looking for someone at a reasonable price who is a little more qualified than the high school student next door - a stay-at-home mom who homeschooled her own child using an Orton-Gillingham based curriculum may be a perfect fit. We understand there is a large spectrum so we allow you to describe your own professional qualifications as there may be potential clients who are the right match for you.

Please let all the professionals in your circle know about this opportunity to have their very own listing page on the Dysgraphia Life website. We are really excited for it to go live this summer!
